Fleeting Thoughts

Now, I never used to be one for religion, despite attending a deeply religious primary school and spending most of my time there listening and automatically memorizing bible stories. Whether I believed in them was another kettle of fish entirely…

…yet here I am, reminiscing about this man:
This, my friends, is Thor. Myself and my friends (yes, I have those) went to the Odeon to see Thor. And it was more than just a film. It was sheer brilliance. Mainly because of how he looked…

Being the god of thunder, he’s pretty much the strongest man there is, except for when he is banished to Earth and his moral form is weak and needs sustenance.

After some discussion, me and my house mates have decided that each time we sit down and have a meal, we shall go, “This drink, I like it! I want another!” and then smash it down on the ground. Using plastic cups of course, and mother, if you’re reading this, never fear, I would never treat your Portmerion in such a manner.

Anyway, today is a good day because not only was my Listening exam not as difficult as I had feared, I only have two classes and I have now mastered the art of connecting my laptop to the wireless on campus. And so I am greeting thee from the library, looking very sophisticated with my laptop and take out hot chocolate cardboard cup.

Another fleeting thought I have as I gaze down at my feet is that I have a tendency to lose my socks, which causes a chain reaction of odd sock wearing. I have concluded that it is simply a curse which I must endure until I receive new socks as a gift, which in fact happened last week, on the eve of the royal wedding, when my boyfriend’s parents gave me a belated birthday present of around 10 pairs of brand new, cotton soft, matching socks. I have never been so thrilled in my life! To me there is nothing better than the feeling you get when you put on a brand new pair of socks for the first time. It is simply…what is the word….joyous.

And with a PING! from my external hardrive, my back up is up to date, and so is my blog. Toodles!
